Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is a picture-perfect example of Southern California’s acclaimed beach cities. The seaside enclave is home to a robust artist’s colony, and stretches for seven miles down the California coast. Two wonderful art festivals take place each year, The Sawdust Festival and the Pageant of the Masters, drawing visitors from near and far. Each year, over three million visitors frequent the city during the summer, helping to bolster the city’s economy.

Pacific Coast Highway snakes along the coastal portion of Laguna Beach, offering residents a variety of local shops and restaurants from which to choose. The city is quite small with a population of just 22,723, but many enjoy the small-town feel that Laguna Beach offers. It’s a city where you absolutely know your neighbors and everyone watches out for one another.

Despite its small size, residents have a variety of attractions to take advantage of including Main Beach, the Laguna Art Museum, Treasure Island Park, Boutique Shops on Forest Avenue, The Laguna Playhouse, and the Pacific Marine Mammal Center. Unsurprisingly, many choose to spend their time relaxing to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, hiking through the canyons, and strolling through the coastal hills. For families, the Laguna Beach School District is highly-respected and includes two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.

Given all of its natural beauty and coastal, local feel, it’s no wonder that Laguna Beach is a coveted residential location amongst individuals throughout the United States.
